We source our fish from the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal, and the Indian Ocean, ensuring they are clean and unpolluted. Our plant receives the catch in an iced condition, ensuring the freshness of the raw material. FRGP employees thoroughly inspect each incoming vehicle with raw material before unloading, and each weighbridge slip and unloading slip number are assigned to facilitate tracking.
Packing at the packing section involves packing the fish meal into HDPE bags, with each bag being assigned a unique identification number, which then gets stitched and palletized. Lab tests for each batch are made following the packing section.
After being separated into their respective receiver areas, the processed fish is taken to their respective cookers, where they are cooked, pressed, and dried. Cooking and drying improve nutritional value, especially digestibility, and kill harmful microbes in the fish. Upon completion of the process, fishmeal and fish oil are generated.
We use a state-of-the-art microbiological laboratory during production and before shipment to ensure that each batch is of the highest quality.
All chemical waste is drained to the Effluent Treatment Plant through an interconnected drainage system. This guarantees utmost hygiene to the products and the environment as well.
